Starling Bank has shaken up the banking industry with its mobile-only bank, putting people back in control of their money. However, to support its UK launch last year, the UK’s fastest growing card manufacturer, allpay Card Services, carried out the production of its eye-catching contactless card, implementing the bank in just eight weeks.
Starling Bank approached allpay in June 2016 – ahead of gaining its UK Banking Licence to assist with the production of its contactless debit card design and production. Following the successful launch of its initial debit card, allpay cards partnered with Starling to design and manufacture its new personal and business account cards. With a bespoke approach, Starling and allpay cards worked to create a unique look, moving away from the standard card created by other UK banks.
