“Many of our clients are challenger banks and being able to differentiate in the marketplace is key. With changes to the regulations surrounding card design, we can now be much more innovative and flexible to help clients stand out.

“The unusual upright design of this particular prepaid staff card, which is used internally for staff travel and expenses, is not the only new feature we have incorporated. We have included a thumb notch or ‘blind notch’ which is helpful for blind or partially sighted people to find the correct card orientation. It has no signature strip and all the personalisation is on the reverse of the card, leaving more space on the front for clean design work. An orange core makes the edge stand out in a purse or wallet plus the magnetic stripe on the back of the card is blue, all adding to a unique look.
