Contactless cards have become an integral payment method with the ease and speed improving the overall experience when paying for goods or services. Biometrics will remove the frustrations often coupled with contactless such as the payment limit and occasional PIN check.

A Visa survey in the United States found 67% of consumers are interested in fingerprint recognition for payments because it is easier and more secure than passwords and PIN numbers. The recent Future of Payments report in The Times takes a look at what a Biometric future looks like.
